FEATURE FILMS IN PREPRODUCTION/DEVELOPMENT

An 8 x 60 minute episodes of an epic period drama set in 1714. A beautiful redhaired squires daughter rides out one stormy afternoon with her brother to avoid an unwanted marriage proposal. Unbeknown to her the Sultan of Morocco has sent a fleet of Barbary Pirates to find a high born red haired girl to add to his harem. The adventures of Elizabeth as she rises to favourite mistress in the harem to preserve her life and her eventual escape and return to her parents falling in love with a French Count on the way. Set against the backdrop of the black and white slave trade, politics of the Gerogian era, Barbary Pirates, witches, intrigue and love.

A 6 or 8 part thriller set between Indonesia, Asia, England and France set in a sleepy English town where crime is scarce. Here a secret is taking place as a black widow perpetrator is holding various men in a Vicorian Ice cave. The missing men are causing grave concern and when the local cult leader's son goes missing he asks an Indonesian documentary maker who has returned to the area with his English wife to investigate. In return he gives him access to the cults daily rituals to include in his new documentary Cult or Con. Harto must find proof of the perpetartor before hie is dran in to the tangled web of dark secrets as he is intended as the next victim.

Following form the success of the short film Every Day's A Bonus starring Dame Maureen Lipman and Amanda Abbington, the writer Jamie Hogartyh has devised a follow on development of a 6 part situation comedy expanding the story and including another character or two in the intergenerational story of tricky relationships.

2. Quirky people - charismatic and eccentric people not afraid to be different and be themselves in the sea of conformity  

Period drama set in 1930's in India and England. Albert becomes the new designer for Indian coinage but has to be single so leaves his wife at home and plans to "marry her" on his first leave and bring her back with him. His wife returns with him but hates the heat and the heirarchy so swiftly reurns home. Lonely and disappointed he gets involved with his housekeeper an Indian woman. Scandal ensues and the servant is found murdered. Who did it and why? 

Years later its present day and his great grandaughter finds a lot of diaries and letters outlining the story between Albert and his wife and a mysterious photo that Albert has written " my dearest little grandaughter"  and Indian girl and Selena decides to visit Calcutta to trace the girl in the photo and find out what really happened back in 1930. (Based on a true story)
